Scholarships
Regulations for institutional scholarships
In order to encourage institutions (including academic institutions, community centers, schools, and so on) to enhance and expand the pedagogical and content knowledge of their teaching staff and students in fields that are relevant to their teaching subject, the Online Academy awards scholarships in accordance with the criteria mentioned below. The possibility of receiving a scholarship is conditional on meeting these criteria, and depends on the number of applicants for the scholarship in a particular year and on the number of scholarships available to the Institute in that year.
The scholarships all cover the cost of one course only.
Applications for study scholarships for the next semester, beginning March 2012 must be submitted no later than January 1, 2012. The Academy's Scholarship Committee will examine every application and will inform the applicants by email of its decision regarding their applications no later than February 1, 2012.
