1. Costos
(por participante)El costo subsidiado del Seminario es de 900 USD para dirigente o educador.Importante: 1.400 USD para acompañantes de una misma familia, sean o no dirigentes/educadores (= 2.300 $ por pareja)Esta suma incluye
todos los gastos de estadía
con excepción del pasaje, seguro médico personal, propinas y gastos privados:
Hospitalidad con pensión completa durante los días del Seminario.
La participación en todos los eventos y paseos en ómnibus privado, con todas las entradas incluidas.
Los materiales de estudio relevantes están incluidos.
La participación en nuestra lista de correo virtual y en nuestro Foro de Dirigentes y la comunicación de eventos futuros.
Posibilidad de un diálogo constante con nuestro equipo de docentes y guías, en Israel y desde el país de origen.
2. Formas de pago
El pago se puede efectuar de las siguientes maneras:
Cheque Bancario a la orden de The MOFET Institute, P.O.B. 48538, Tel Aviv 61484, Israel (por favor escriban el nombre y las fechas del Seminario en el reverso del cheque).
Con tarjeta de crédito por intermedio de nuestra "tienda virtual" MacaMall – MOFET`s Online Shop
Importante: Si tiene un familiar o amigo en Israel, o si alguno viaja, puede enviar con él el pago en efectivo.
Para reservar un lugar en el seminario, deberá abonar 200 $ hasta el 15.10.2012.
El saldo restante deberá ser abonado hasta el 20.12.2012.
En caso de querer cancelar la inscripción, podrá hacerlo hasta el 30.12.2012 y se le reembolsará el total de la suma pagada, descontándose 100 $ en concepto de gastos de inscripción.
Si la cancelación se realizara luego de esta fecha, entre el 31.12.12 y el 05.01.13, se reembolsará solamente el 50% del costo del seminario.
A partir del 05.01.13 no habrá reembolso alguno.

Leadership Seminar for Teachers and Community Executives of the Jewish World

The seminar will focus on the following aspects:
Historical aspect – Exposure to leadership narratives, to leaders’ dilemmas in the context of the places in which the historical events occurred in the Land of Israel, and to the Jewish texts that tell their stories (the Bible, the Mishnah, the Talmud, and new Hebrew sources);
Contemporary aspect – The clarification of the roles of Jewish community leadership with regard to topics such as the Hebrew calendar, the circle of Jewish life, Shoah commemoration and guidance of groups;
Future aspect – A discussion of the role of Jewish leadership in fostering Jewish and community identity and in positioning Israel among Diaspora Jewry;
Professional aspect – Assisting each participant in defining ways to develop his/her personal leadership, based on a variety of models.
Teaching methods:
Lectures – Evaluation of leadership models as well as types of leadership in Jewish history;
Encounters – Becoming acquainted with leaders and leadership models in various domains of Israeli society (political, military, educational) – a personal encounter;
Study tours – Following in the footsteps of Biblical, Mishnaic, and Talmudic leaders, historical leaders, leaders from the beginning of the settlement in the modern era, IDF commanders in regions where battles were fought and young leaders of the future generations.
Workshops – Exposure to materials and practice in fostering Jewish identity.
Please note the cost is relevant for the current academic year 2012-2013.

Sentence Syntax and Text Syntax
A course in the Hebrew program
Dr. Orly Albeck
The course will focus on topics dealt by the modern syntax: the structure of the sentence and the text, semantic and pragmatic attributes of the sentence and the text. The essential role of syntax in decoding and encoding sentences will be emphasized. We will show that besides the obligated syntactical rules there are rules of probability that are well known to the speakers of the language, and have an important role in decoding the text.
