Head of The International Channel - Dr. Sara Ziv
Dr. Ziv is currently the Head of the International Channel. She is the founder of The MOFET Institute and between 1992-2007 served as Director of the Department of Teacher Education at the Ministry of Education in Israel. She was formerly an elementary and high-school teacher as well as a Coordinator of Elementary School Education at a college of education in Israel.
Her fields of expertise include teacher education, training of teacher educators (induction), planning and advancing system-wide programs in teacher education and in the training of teacher educators.
MOFET International Staff
Abu Alhija Adnan Mohammed
Abu Alhija holds M.Sc. Degree in science teaching from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa. For 37 years he served as a principal and science teacher in several institutions at the Ministry of education in Israel.
In the last five years he served as a head of the Arabic language section and translation coordinator for science textbooks at the Center for Educational Technology.
Currently he is the content sub-editor of the Arabic portal at the MOFET Institute.
Penny is the project manager and coordinator of the academic content portals at the MOFET Institute's International Channel.
She is an information specialist and holds an M.A. in Information Studies from Bar-Ilan University.
She has been characterizing social-media and web-based projects and serving as a user instructor at The MOFET Institute.
Her additional research interests include digital marketing, music online and the analogue tape-cassette culture
Aryeh is currently the Director of MOFET International's Online Academy. He is a Ph.D. Candidate at Bar-Ilan University, in the Department of Technology in Education, specializing in distance learning.
Ben-Chayim has extensive experience in managing projects which implement computerized learning systems. He develops, writes and teaches curriculum in advanced computer applications.
Ben Shitrit Netta
Netta holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Information Science from Bar-Ilan University. She works as an Information Specialist at MOFET's Intercollegiate Information Center. She is the sub-editor of the MOFET JTEC Content Portal.
Simone is currently the Coordinator of the International Channel and the Online Academy. She studied Middle Eastern and African History at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Cohen is currently the consultant for international cooperation and marketing at MOFET International. Cohen worked as an Economic and Trade Officer at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C. Among her other tasks, she was a liaison officer to the International and Multilateral Agencies for five years. Prior to the assignment in Washington, Cohen spent 15 years working as a Deputy Director of MCTC, an international training center affiliated to MASHAV, the Israeli Center for International Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was also in charge of the Training Department of the Ministry of Absorption.
For the last 31 years, she has been involved in adult education and training. She has conducted training and consultancy missions in many countries (in Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe).
Khair Dallashi is currently the pedagogical editor of MOFET's international portal of Teacher education in Arabic.
At Sakhnin College for Teacher Education he is a lecturer, an information scientist and head of the library and the pedagogical center.
Khair holds a master's degree, in educational counseling and information science, from Bar Ilan University.
Kalnisky Esther, Dr.
Dr. Kalnisky is the academic director of the portal ITEC in Spanish, coordinator for professional ties with Ethiopia and acts in the team for Spanish speaking communities in building vivencial study programs for principals and teachers of Jewish schools. She has managed and developed the first program for training teachers from Ethiopian immigrants.
Formerly she has worked 15 years as educational counselor at Achva College and another pre academics programs. Today she is lecturer and researcher in the field of multiculturalism, identities, professional orientation and alternative training teachers. She also coordinates the special programs for promoting higher education for Ethiopian origin students in the Achva Academic Colleges. Dr. Kalnisky holds a Ph.D. degree from the Bar Ilan University.
Kleeman Sara, Dr.
Dr. Kleeman was the Head of the Elementary Teachers' Department at Oranim Academic College of Education. At Oranim she established and directs a resource center for assisting students in their academic and pedagogic tasks. Sara is a staff member of MOFET's International channel in which she is mainly engaged in writing programs and working with teacher training institutions in Africa.
Kritz Miki, Dr.
Dr. Kritz is a member of the technological staff in MOFET's International channel as well as the Coordinator of the Online Environment Team and the Center for Technology and Multiculturalism at MOFET.
He is an Academic-technological advisor at Kibbutzim College and a lecturer in the field of ICT in teacher education. Dr. Kritz has written three books on the topic of the Internet, and many articles discussing Progressive Education and Kibbutz Education.
Tal is the Logistics Coordinator at MOFET International. She holds a B.A. in Business Management with a specialization in Human Resources from Ruppin Academic Center.
Noga is a member of the academic staff in the international channel in the MOFET Institute.
Coordinator of online webinars and other projects. Holds an M.A. degree in Geography from Haifa University. Former duties: Head of the department for elementary school teachers and Dean of Students in the Kibbutzim Academic College of Education, Tel Aviv.
Aviel has teaching experience at all levels of formal education including university. Besides that, he is also experienced in Human Resources corporate training, especially on customer relations, communication and languages. He graduated as educator, specializing in Modern Languages, at the University of Zulia in Venezuela (1992). In Spain he received the degree of philologist, specialized in Modern Philology by the University of La Laguna (1997). In Switzerland he studied Comparative Linguistics of the Romanic Languages (2003) at the University of Zurich.
He has worked both in public and private schools, and also in training departments of multinational companies --in Venezuela and four European countries-- before he immigrated to Israel in 2011. Since then, Aviel has participated in several activities and projects for MOFET International. He is currently part of the communication advising team, co-ordinating the online media of the MOFET International Channel, due to his teaching, ICT, communication and language experience.
Tsvika is currently the Online Coordinator (social media & website content) at MOFET International. He has previous experience in online environments, including: site management, content editor, CMS, e-commerce and social networking. Additional Practice Areas: Video Editing, Photography, Photoshop Editing, PC Technician and Copywriting.
Shadia Sbait holds a B.A. degree in Economics and Business Management from Bar Ilan University and is currently an M.A. student of Information Management at Haifa University. Sbait is the Marketing specialist of the MOFET academic content portal in Arabic
Michla was born in Argentina and immigrated to Israel in 1973. She has worked as a teacher and an educational counselor, and for 20 years has served as a pedagogical supervisor, lecturer and Dean at Levinsky College of Teacher Education.
In addition, she is involved in moderating groups, in organizational counseling and in coaching. At The MOFET Institute, she coordinated the Workshop Department. She moderates workshops on the topic of instruction and guidance. Since 2007 she works in the International Channel as an academic coordinator of programs and projects for Spanish-speaking communities throughout the world, among the Jewish community and the global educators' community.
Tamara is currently the Director of MOFET's International Channel. She holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics and Linguistics, and an M.A. degree in Curriculum Development for Teaching Languages from Tel-Aviv University. She is also a certified teacher of Mathematics, English and Dance. Tamara began her work at The MOFET Institute as coordinator of International Relations and together with Dr. Ziv established the International Channel in the summer of 2007.
Ines Weller holds a B.A. in Sociology, Anthropology & Education from Tel Aviv University. She is the content editor of The MOFET Institute's Spanish academic content portal. Ines has over seven years' experience in the field of education and 15 years' experience as a content writer in the areas of journalism & marketing. In addition, she has experience in editing, translating, social networks, and so on. She served as an editorial board member in of Spanish-language Israeli newspapers, and wrote a weekly column for a Ma'ariv-owned magazine (in Hebrew) for 10 years. She has also participated in a wide variety of web-based projects in recent years.
Reuven is the Pedagogy and Content Editor of the MOFET JTEC Jewish Education Portal and a member of the MOFET International staff. He also serves as the coordinator of educational technology at Neveh Channah HS for girls.
He formerly served as National Counselor – Israeli Pedagogic Network for Collaborative Learning at the Pedagogic Secretariat, Israel Ministry of Education and ICT Administrator at Herzog Teachers College. His fields of interest are Judaica instruction, information literacy and instructional design.
Michal holds an M.A. in Public Policy from Tel-Aviv University and a Diploma in Information Management from the Open University.
She is an information specialist and the content editor of the MOFET's International Academic Content Portal.
